First of all, from the beginning, she did not show us listings that were only hers. Common practice in the US to show all listings, but not so much in the USVI. She called us whenever she had a new tip, she researched and she sent pictures.?? Seaglass Properties has a fantastic automatic notification when new properties come on the market, or when prices change. I can tell you that this tool is invaluable. That tool is the one reason that we are homeowners in St. Thomas. Every time we received a notification and had questions, Barbara was there to answer the questions. ??We made an offer based on the website notification and a price that was lowered, but we were so busy at home that we could not go to the islands for the survey and the inspection. Barbara was there and on the phone with us during the process. This is above and beyond what we expect most brokers would do, let alone, understand. During our negotiations, Barbara was in Ireland. No matter the day or time, she picked up the phone, and did her job. (sorry about that Barbara) Barbara is experienced with both the listing and selling ends of real estate. She is realistic, she is responsive and above all, Barbara is honest. ??We are in the real estate business in the states. Thought we had it all covered but USVI is very different. Barbara’s advice, as well as the company that backs her up – invaluable. Barbara, after our recent transaction, the number under your name “5.0” “(6.0)” It should be “10”.
